Police Department

The Police Department, Government of Sindh is a key law-enforcement wing of the Home Department, Government of Sindh, entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining law and order, protecting the lives and property of citizens, preventing and controlling crime, and ensuring public safety across the province.

Sindh Police works through its various operational, investigation, intelligence, traffic, specialized and administrative units to provide effective policing services to the people of Sindh. The Department also coordinates with the Home Department and other law-enforcement and security agencies on matters relating to public order, crime prevention, counter-terrorism and internal security.

The Police Department is committed to professional policing, public service, protection of fundamental rights, prevention of crime, effective investigation and strengthening the rule of law.
